Wassup so I took care of some bodily functions on the Red Herring this morning. Last night was stormy as hell, 25 knots per hour I just slept through all that and tried to stay hydrated. Made a shit ton of coffee on the Red Herring and resplayed her solar panel 110 watts and chilled as the storm and cold turned in to early pre spring sun.
I remember seeing McEnroe on Dave Letterman shortly after 9/11. I was in my crib at 1005 Grove Ave Richmond VA. He was on a rooftop in Manhattan and trying to serve tennis balls through a window in an adjacent building.
I met a new neighbor near Red Herring this morning on the trip to shore, Julian. He says he's around 67 and has a young wife like in her 20s and a six year old son. He seemed in such a hurry to fetch his son from somewhere I couldn't even get him to help me carry my big red kayak which I thought I had lost weeks ago but which happily reappeared behind Avalon sailing club. I will keep her padlocked to a chain. Maybe I should call her Pete Sampras. It's a beautiful red kayak as it is extremely solid. It's so solid I was able to transfer the 110 watt panel to Red Herring with her (Pete Sampras, if I call her that). I had just gone out and bought a smaller red kayak and this one fits beautifully on the starboard side overnight although I haven't tried a proper sail with her in that position just the disaster sail recently that almost saw another blunderous uninsured accident like the time the Porsche hit me costing 12k AUD (Also coincidentally Red Herring's price.)
