They are famous for producing interesting and charismatic Presidents like FDR and JFK, people who you can just refer to by their three initials coz they're all that. Then they produced Jimmy Carter who was the only honest politician they ever produced but was incompetent like Biden and drove up inflation. Then Clinton came along and seemed effective as a President and we had to just pretend he and Hilary weren't super cringey forever. Then Barack came along and even his wife didn't like Hilary, shock horror. They made Nancy Pelosi an uber trillionaire and you can pitch a tent and smoke crack or fentanyl with a pipe or aluminium foil with your welfare money.
