Wow what a day! I was up around 4am tried tuning into Greg Kelly (Kelly is Madrid slang for crib) but it was Sunday in the USA. Finally slept and had that intense Astral travelling sensation in California somehow somewhere, can't remember now but it was real. Then the Mrs calls at 730am on the phone....
Dropped kids at school and my next door neighbour is checking out the roofers. He and I have only spoken less than five occasions, maybe three today but I can see I like him and feel admiration for him. Guess it's a local thing.
Then some previous house owners, the Eagletons arrive from outer space as they say, actually Balina. I give them a guided tour of their old house. They told me it was built in 1956 and the original owners were the Whites. Then the police couple, can't remember their name, husband and wife, both cops. Then the Eagletons. Then the previous owners. Then us. The Eagletons said the oven and dishwasher were like 20 years old. That's why I'll have to replace them soon. Worn.
Tiled roof was basically mostly off by this point, 66 years old. Thrown into a truck. The Eagletons stayed like twenty minutes. I immediately left the aforementioned next door neighbor's neighbor opposite him, some vitamin d and a handwritten note apologizing for the noise as she'd come over to he and I, just before the Eagletons arrived, complaining she had covid and when were the chainsaws going to stop? (The roofers replaced sarking (sealing thick foil), wooden ribbing inside roof.
I quickly took off to my local gardening customer. Interesting client however I will not going into details about that now.
Home again, shower and off to work. Big car accident on the way. Was late to clock in at work but perfectly on time with the bus schedule from depot out to route. Home to a new roof!
So now I have a new 6.6 kwtz Aircon. New 5.2 kwtz solar panel system. I have the old 2kwtz 8 panel system which I will set up myself for my garage man cave same as I set up myself for the boat with the 110 watts panel.
All I need now is the new skylight they were meant to install today but will install later this week. I got all that and Ted's got his boots so we're all happy!
Oh I almost forgot. After I got back from my gardening job the lady with covid's hubby was outside with a mobile mechanic so I took the opportunity to introduce myself at long last, been three plus years and our wives were almost getting chummy at some point. Turns out his name is Dave but I forgot her name today.
