shall we compare benji's hair to a summer's day, or a winter's day?

in denying the greatness of benji's coiffure, which we can say is great in absolute terms, people will draw upon their own subjective values to define their denial, some examples might be:

1) too communist
2) too right-wing
3) too long
4) too short
5) not blonde enough
6) too black
7) not frizzy enough
8) not african or chinese enough
9) not danish-looking enough
10) not biblical enough
11) too renaissance-style
12) not renaissance-styled enough
13) too difficult to spell
14) not english enough
15) not english-language friendly enough
16) un-american
17) anti-european
18) not commercial enough
19) too commercial
20) not good for the economy
21) too successful for its own good
22) terrorist-leaning
23) too big brother/too much government intervention
24) too reptilian
25) too mammalian
26) too Marxist
27) too confucian
28) too pro-Beatles
29) anti-flower-child-hippy-revolutionary
30) anti-dada-ist
31) too greasy
32) too conditioned
33) too shampood
34) too blow-dried

and so on and so forth, inner motivations for denying the greatness and ultimate superiority of benji's hairstyle might be manifested in any of the above 30 points (or others) however the motivation will normally be sheer jealousy, or even possibly a sense of inferiority and despair aroused by the starkly superior nature of benji's hair...... some people will even be genuine in their mis-placed belief that their hairstyle is superior to the benji's.... this could be because of a sense of superior wealth, or superior breeding (genetics - which is moot anyway, as hair is dead cell matter), or a sense of cultural superiority (e.g., iranians and americans), or because of a lifetime spent on expensive hairdressers........a movie star, used to being adored and placed on a pedestal might have spent years like the fabled narcissist, in love with their own reflection, however, in this case, they would still have inferior hair to the benji, who is not at all narcissistic in affirming the superior quality of his hairstyle.... we could even put up some Botticellis here but again, the results would be inferior to benji's hair

a psychologist might argue that benji is over compensating out of a sense of inferiority, and a comedian might say that benji is telling a 'corker', a writer might say benji is indulging in a fantasy, and a religionist might say that no man's hair is superior to God........ that is all very good and well, but dismissively, we merely state, we say, what is essentially Self-Evident
