wow! just caught my first game rink-side (or was it the second game now?) - anyway, tv does not do this sport justice.... what a thoroughly magnificent game it is when played by very competent players right in front of you.... wow.... all the negative feedback on this blog about the stupidity of fat, lazy, emotionally imbecilic sports fans watching soccer, baseball, rugby, cricket, etc, does not apply to ice-hockey......... the level of skill and athleticism is just astounding......... that is a sport you can park your arse and watch every weekend at a stadium without feeling like a complete idiot, that's for sure......... have never been to a football game so cannot tell you what that's like........
