The detective on camera does not speak normal English. At no point dies he use the suffix teen when reckoning numbers between twelve and twenty, subnormal. Everything is dean.
We can see no motive presented. No CCTV footage is discussed from final bank withdrawal from Campbelltown. The Dean of my school was called Campbell. Could he be a suspect? Do they need any actual evidence in kangaroo court?
From seeing about half of this interview, considering no relevant details are even mentioned in terms of a motive, everything described points to a crime of opportunity like this girl was raped and murdered and buried by one random guy over forty or whatever and familiar with the Campbelltown area, possibly living nearby on a farm. Although if the killer withdrew money from her account then I'd say a young dumb thug, possibly with accomplice (s), also a rapist. Why the hell would the boyfriend's father kill her unless he was screwing her? hard to buy.
I'm deducing after six minutes of this troubling nonsense that there is definitely no CCTV footage of the ATM withdrawal they mentioned so they're alleging the boyfriend's parents kill her in Young then drive to Campbelltown and risk using the ATM, being filmed by CCTV, in order to create an alibi and stage a crime???? What???? That is completely nuts. Sounds like more dean instead of teen Dean bullshit.
So by 7 minutes 30 seconds in I deduce the bungling investigators have zero CCTV footage of Amber on public transport either. So she could have been killed in Mt Druitt by abbos at this point and no-one has the first clue.

So this detective, no disrespect meant, is saying it's a good result this 61 year old couple is being hauled in front of a judge because of all the hours logged on the case, even if they're innocent. That's ridiculous. By this point the media is looking pretty suspect because if this case gets dismissed it will be crickets and more homosexuality and adultery and gender reassignment surgery is good for the Australian (between quotation marks and holding my nose for the stink) media (insular, insecure northern Europeans on drugs).
So they're saying they've seized a car used by this couple TWENTY YEARS LATER????? Is that a tad late? Wouldn't 2002 have produced slighter fresher evidence, just a hunch, call it a wild goose chase.
There isn't anything that suggests malicious prosecution from this chap however you don't really know what's happening behind the scenes, it would be something for lawyers to consider. I mean who knows, if these folks are guilty, we're not seeing anything incriminating presented. Why is this lady leaving her baby with her mother in law to visit her mom without the six month old baby, that's definitely an important question for investigators to look at. The most pivotal question I can see with nothing to go on apart from this news conference and knowing how shifty Australia's media are.
I find it troubling this chap talking about what good news it is for investigators to be informing the family of this missing girl how they've made an arrest when she was potentially killed by someone in that family, that's messed up.
Unless you understand bungling, it would be difficult to understand how this chap can talk about a good investigation when a car is lifted for forensic evaluation TWENTY YEARS LATER. Apparently they were recorded on their phones talking about feeding human remains to pigs. That's potentially incriminating although not necessarily. The courts generally don't take into consideration sensationalist cocaine druggy journalists even from nice suburbs, that's not how the courts work. Ok so they're saying this accused 'father of the boyfriend' actually fathered the child so was screwing her which is what I said. Definitely looks like they have some evidence and it was too sordid to mention at press conference. Definitely appears they are barking up the right tree after all.
