DW: Putin talks recently with German Chancellor after six weeks (close neighbours). 

Russia struggling with lack of discipline in chain of command, also with particular regards to ground forces and even recruitment. Artillery and ground forces weakened. Possible sense of satisfaction close to achieved with regards to general destruction caused 'denazification'. 

EU stepping up aid. Possible Ukrainians not severely affected by war may be happy with future prospects for rebuilding and closer ties with EU (difficult to say due to severe effect of war on Ukrainians).
