British news documentary worth watching:

I was recently watching a documentary on the German head if the Wehrmacht. Basically he was a career officer. He was serving in the first world war (which broke out in a similar way to the Ukraine war at present), stayed in the German army during the Weimar republic. Then became head of the army under Hitler. He actually called Hitler the greatest general shortly before Hitler's invasion of Russia. It's interesting to note how ruthless the Nazi leadership were in purging army heads they hated. One top guy they accused him off being a fag (illegal) and then just shot him dead. The Nazis were really ruthless.
Anyway this guy was a career officer so was considered pretty competent. What you're sensing from this BBC documentary and the possibilities is that the Russian military certainly have an opportunity to master this modern precision artillery shelling (laser guided precision artillery), along with the 'unblinking eye' drone surveillance of the battle space, but only because they have chosen a relatively weak opponent. Even still, I question the Russian esprit de corps in the matter as I believe it's a land grab and power grab forced by Putin.
Therefore I will share the time about my two weeks in Polk county Florida at a Chinese restaurant in Winter Haven with a Mexican coyote, washing dishes. I would have mentioned Roberto already. He was a Mexican coyote and a pimp and drug dealer. He said he'd already been hauled in by the FBI for interrogation and was on their top ten list or whatever. He certainly wasn't flustered. I wasn't afraid of him and did nothing wrong. He was taking a break from crime but offered me work co-pimping and weighing/packaging drugs, which I politely declined. I'm willing to accept that Putin has probably dealt and pushed less drugs than the CIA, and is probably an idealistic fellow in his own way.
However, cutting to the chase. As Roberto clearly saw about me and made no bones about stating to me (in Spanish as we only spoke Spanish), 'tú no sabes lo que quieres'.... 'you don't know what you want...' this looks to be Putin's situation to me. Just kind of staying in charge and on top and going for a land grab with no regards for these Ukrainians and their land!!!! I'm sceptical!!!!
