You might catch me talking on a Christian radio channel in Portland Oregon in coming weeks I'll keep you posted here about it. They were saying antifa trains in Ukraine but I don't believe that! Sounds like crap.

Would say those missiles were deployed about a week ago. Long term like the next ten years, isolating Russia might not be real good. I mean you don't want things getting like the Weimar republic. 

Occasionally in the last ten years or so of his life my brother, Joseph Stalin (not his real name, just a nickname), was sometimes fond of randomly and cheerfully announcing, 'ten years is a picnic.'

Checkout Svetlana from St Petersburg (super close to Helsinki). She seems pretty nice, she talks about food availability in Russia (SPG) and prices. Pretty similar to Australian prices, a lot more than Bulgarian prices back in 2008. Not especially expensive for Russia. The prices in western Europe are off the charts and have been for over ten years. I wasn't kidding about France being socialist. France and Spain have been socialist for a very long time now. The entire EU is one big USSR. You might say that the USSR is a reaction and reflection of the Americas or North America and the EU is a reaction or refection of the USSR.

Although Russia is not part of the EU, I don't especially see why Russia needs a Ruble currency at all. I mean I guess most countries like a central bank and setting their own interest rates, etc. But I mean it would be pretty interesting if Russia just ditched the Ruble and adopted Euros for currency.

Bulgaria doesn't look in any hurry to drop the Lev and get the Euro. I recall living in Paris when the Euro came in. One day it was Francs as usual then all of a sudden Euros. Same in Spain they ditched the Peseta.

So you see a number of shops closed down in the mall and others open as usual. See her in the Nike shop. Here's the deal: Nike uses slave labor in Indonesia and southeast Asia. Their standards of actual quality are pretty good but most of the price is just profits for Nike shareholders, or bonuses for CEOs. You can get basically the same quality stuff from China for five to ten times less but people want Nike because Michael Jordan and all the tennis players wore Nike. It's basically idolatry. People are that lame it doesn't matter if american or Russian or vietnamese they want brand name stuff because they're that pathetic they need a brand. That's how the masses roll. Everyone wants their MTV dance clip and Nike. But at the end of the day, the government could just run a website where people design their own shirt logos or whatever and China will ship it. With a border that big, it's pretty obvious China and Russia can trade.
