WABC radio NYC, can I win the $1000 minute?

It wouldn't be easy. First of all some lady answered in a curt NY accent: 'you're too early call later'. I was about two minutes early.

Actually it's pretty difficult to get through. You have to be the seventh caller. Then there's always one of ten questions that's really tricky. I called again and the same lady (? Molly??) was nicer sounding, she even invited me to stay on the line and talk to Frank. I thanked her and declined, not that Frank isn't pleasant to talk to but I had nothing much to say. I mean today on the drive home from my boat I even called the counselling helpline in Berkeley CA that I sometimes call to vent my sob stories and didn't have much to say to them either. I'd probably just donate the money to Curtis' wife Nancy for her dog shelter or whatever. See the guy today lost because he said Pope John instead of John Paul 2nd.

Taking the Mrs for her first boating adventure this week, probably Wednesday, while the kids are in school. I downloaded an app that shows the wind speeds over an hour by hour day by day. Too strong a gust can actually damage your sail so you want reliable wind not freaky gusts.

I brought the lifejackets the kids were using on the last adventure as they had to wear them even in the dinghy back to shore way back when so had to just leave them in the garage. I actually have a whopping three foresails (two spares). My next door neighbors have a beautiful, pricey sailboat from Seattle, a lovely boat, we looked at my two spare foresails on the weekend and they showed me how the hanks work on the fore stay. I probably won't try raising that with the Mrs this week. It'd be preferable just to shtoop her on the boat. If I can pick up a buoy somewhere or shtoop her on my mooring, ideal like.

The kids put on a valentine's show for us after dinner. I felt a little awkward. The dinner was great though. We really need to eat outdoors more. The back patio is super this time of year.

Read my Buddhism book a bit and had a one hour lie down on my boat. Got my boating license at the DMV luke [sic]. It's actually roads and maritime services (RMS). So it's dated from valentine's day three years. I don't really need it for my sailboat as it travels under ten knots per hour.

See what Coolio's saying about giving a little? You can do that if you win the $1000 minute....
