Back to church, back to Bible bashing

Ok so kind of stopped attending church around January 2nd was like the the last time. Then the following three Sundays I was sleeping on the Beneteau 40 foot boat from the sailing school, and sailing on those Sundays. Then I have my own sailing boat since around the third weekend in and my eldest two kids are saying they don't want to go to church anymore not withstanding they were enjoying playing with some of the kids at church. They specifically mentioned not enjoying the sunday school hour. Too heavy.

I also decided to pass on church in general although today I'm attending just to kind of get help babysitting the youngest child. The oldest two kids are with they [sic] momma and the middle kid's classmate celebrating her 7th birthday today at Luna Park. I don't like Luna Park plus it's too expensive for me and the youngest kid so we're passing.

My 7 week epic holiday from work ends tomorrow and I have to punch on the clock around 1pm (no we don't use punch cards anymore, just electronic tags, just an expression). The coke machine at work is like punch, one of the drinks, at least, I think it's called Passiona.* Maybe I should dig out my coke machine card from the cupboard at home where the sewing stuff is. I sewed the girls school uniforms recently, what needed fixing. I've been sewing since I was a little kid, since noone else would do it for me.

Ben the preacher today is rattling on about Paul. Or as I say, Pawl. Changing tack, Trump is on the airwaves now calling the NYC lawyer Leticia or whoever 'mentally sick'. I'm partial to 'rascal' when speaking disparagingly about folks.

I'm not sure how much I'll attend church in future, possibly not much, however I'm not expecting any cold shoulders or mean spiritedness for not attending church. Church is nice because you can always end up socializing with someone else of a different age. Also there's a philosophical pretext or basis for talking with people.

The main federal political leader of Australia, Scott Morrison, is reopening Australia's borders after like two years of lockdown:

I'm looking to get out of the bus game and buy and run a small business asap. I've got a small business coaching service, first four hours free then $25 an hour, very affordable. I'll probably do it. Also want to buy an investment property soon, before my birthday in May preferably.

Man I wish I had Jesus' faith when it comes to weather conditions on the sailboat:

He woke up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" Then the wind ceased, and there was a dead calm. He said to them, "Why are you afraid? Have you still no faith?" And they were filled with great awe and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"

Unfortunately I might not be there yet. When whiffy and I went out on Wednesday just past, she asked me to take a photo of her at the bow and a moment later the boom just flew across unpredictability at some freak gust. Could have killed me dead it was so decisive. Have to be careful with that. Both my sailing expeditions so far have been gorgeous though. Perfect weather. Lucky so far. I don't think I have Jesus' faith vis storms though. Sydney has some very specific weather conditions.
