these are the only two actors benji recognizes, however immediately this movie has the positive quality of seeming like a real world, not just look an event with big names... There's not much action or car chases, mostly interractions and dialog, all the stuff the actors spend years practicing at film school. There are no green screens and hours of having make up applied and complicated outfits.... Can the script then deliver, is the question this film is posing... Franks hot black girlfriend comes to his workplace. Frank is a cop. Frank locked up someone important to the black woman, who was white, judging by how she's talking about him. Not sure why color should matter. More drama between the black lady and Frankie. Frank and the black lady are horny. Now frank wants more than just shoplifting the poo nanny. So the script has taken off, reached cruising altitude when it's all about frank and the black lady. Now all of a sudden it's probably franks crim brother who just got out of jail, some artsy stuff as he sees some tail that interests him. It's all set in the 70s. Next scene, outdoors, sunny, two guys just out of jail find a kiosk they will convert into an honest business. More artsy music overbtop, plus some dialog with occasional profanity. Frank the cop and crim brother have some dialog then cut to police station, frank's boss questions his relationship with his brother. The gazebo is all set up and reformed. There was a pretty good scene where Rudy Giuliani says they can't run the gazebo kiosk because they are excons so they will burn it all so noone can enjoy it just like the moonnites from aqua teen hunger force. Benji is running out of time to listen to all the dirty sluts bound for hell this movie has to cough up as it's time to get back to work and sit in a stuporous yet somehow pleasant state that is Benjis normal daily mindset. I think the hot brunette is mila kunos, all I know is she's hot and I think Seth McFarlane, who might as well be Jesus as far as Hollywood's concerned, likes her or pimped her under or something. All the 70s decor they mustered up is really awesome. If you enjoy cussing you're in for a treat. James caan is the dad of the two brothers and the lady cast as his wife really wouldn't be with him in real life.
James caans motivation is crankiness with his sons' bad relationship with each other. Crim son peek at next job planned. Planning is key when organizing crime, even just in a movie. Armed robbery, to the death. Crim bro is straight out to randomly kill strangers for fun. He has no regard for human life. Or maybe it was an organized hit. This movie is fun! But it's time to move on.
