Hey I just had a great 9/11. What a great day. I want you to know if you lost loved ones or experienced cancer fifteen years later from 9/11 dust or something, let me tell you, even though three of my immediate family members suicided, also same in my father's immediate family (three suicides), plus his cousin Lucy's immediate family, three suicides; we're all doing great!
Whether you lost loved ones (or acquaintances) in Shanksville or the Pentagon like my buddy Drew's father did or in the world trade center or from wtc cancer causing dust (I breathed some of that shit in a few weeks after 9/11 in downtown Manhattan). What a great day! That day and today!
I'm sorry to tell you but I LOVED that day just like I loved today. Why did I love 9/11? Coz I had the most miserable upbringing and shitty luck you could imagine and on top of that, my only favourite family member suicided on 5/23/99. So your pain on 9/11 was my sympathetic reunion with you buddy. Feeling your pain! Liberating!
So what was so great about today? Well I met these two French moms and we got to talking in french and our kids were playing together. During 9/11 I was in Richmond VA then I went to Paris in the November two months later and learned french, from nothing! And that's how I could talk to those two French ladies today. That's winning!
Plus there was a Korean married couple with their little restaurant and their fun little Korean speaking toddler. On 9/11 my Korean girlfriend in Richmond Virginia I was living with could do all that shit that toddler could do, play with a stick and throw a soccer ball and speak Korean. That's life and you have to love that shit.
Sure there's always gonna be that one person you hate you want to stick a Glock in their mouth and blow their brains onto a wall and then kind of leisurely wash it off with a garden hose and a hotdog listening to folks play frisbee but you're not always going to be able to do that so sometimes you just got to sit back, listen to Mozart's military march, and watch other folks do that shit.
Happy 9/11. Love you guys (except the rare few I hate, like Nazis and stuff).
