Also consider the entertaining Kevin Kostner movie The Untouchables....

I distinctly remember like as a twelve year old, coming into high school, grade seven, still in my crazy government owned house from when I was a baby (such a small house today I'm so big and tall and experienced, so much bigger in those days)... the Mad Magazine satirical write up of this movie, even more than the movie itself. The horse pursuit on the Canadian border IS somewhat ridiculous.
Anyway it's a fun look at Prohibition. To put it in more distinctly Australian terms:
Al Capone is a fuggen shlut who bootlegs illegal flagon for every fuggen shlut to drink. Everyone is on his illegal payroll, cops, judges, jurors, you name it: dirty fuggen shluts.
One dreamboat of a man comes to that rescue: the guy from Dances with Wolves, what's his name, oh yeah, Elliott Ness. What an absolute dreamboat, he will not be caught by Capone or anyone else bashing his Mrs for her Centrelink money then going on a week-long drunken bender in Darwin like a dirty fuggen shlut.
Then Elliott Ness makes a team of untouchable fuggen shlut crime fighters, not untouchable because of venereal disease or chronic alcoholism from excessive flagon but untouchable in a different way: Sean Connery, you know 007? Don't they have phones in Kalgoorlie yer farken shlut, yeah get f&$ked yer farken shlut, fugg off, yeah you farken shlut! And two other guys, one of whom is an accountant.
Al Capone is a ruthless fuggen shlut played by Robert Deniro who is also a fuggen shlut by the way, just sayin'..... Yeah get f&$ked yer farken shlut fugg off.
Eventually Capone goes to gaol for tax evasion and Prohibition is repealed meaning everyone can drink flagon til they ready to bash they Mrs for her Centrelink money get f&$ked yer farken shluts.
Vote Republican this November mid term, clean up the FBI and stop printing money. Flagon!!!! Tell Biden Harris to get f&$ked the fuggen shluts yeah yer farken shluts.
