Ok just at Oliver Hire at 44 Balgowlah Rd Manly.... Had to collect a raggedy old double mattress for John. He's the guy that sailed to Rio Del Janeiro. He seems to be a masterful sailor so dismissing him as a bum would have been a mistake. Scratching his back so he can scratch mine, (guan xi as the Chinese say), I'm delivering the mattress for him. Oliver from Oliver Hire said to throw his tarpolin over the fence. So I threw it in a box trailer. That's what I need for my stuff near the boat: a box trailer. I want a small one I can lift up onto my utility vehicle on rails myself. As it's pricey to get a tow bar and I may not need it. I'll drop John his raggedy mattress now and continue to try to develop a good relationship with him, I could certainly use his maritime expertise, not least in coming days as I'm so new to the water.
I'll proceed to Avalon and leave my red kayak nearby Red Herring for coming weeks. She's in my name now, transferred her over before zee dentist. Mola.

Ok moments later, I've just Benji-bearsed (boarded) my yacht. It's pretty cozy, nice to have a table I prefer to sit at as opposed to just lying in a cot. I'm at the Benji-bearsen table (seated) right now. Was just listening to Karl Rove before that and wondering where the hell my backup Nokia phone 📱📱 got to. And whose the hell sunglasses were on my head. Mysterious, hope it's not missing, last time I remember seeing it was at zee boarding house like an hour ago where I delivered John's mattress. Weird.
John will help me master what I want to master on zee yacht, starting with mooring, unmooring and motoring out safely. I also need to add diesel and get kids some life jackets.
Now for an inventory, that's why I like a second phone, I can use one for a tv and blog or whatever on the other one.
Anyway I've brought two bags aboard, safely without getting them wet:
1 X Glen 20 brand spray disinfectant. That was my mom's favorite.
1x men's deodorant, 1x suncream, 1x moisturizer
1x scented baby wipes
1x instant coffee, note will have methylated spirits cooker later to boil water, sweetener pills, condensed milk can
* 2 permanent markers and pens, will label seacocks for flushing toilet and sink above toilet now
1x box of ibuprofen for headaches, box of hayfever medicine
2x sandwiches: salmon, lettuce, parsley and cheese
Various articles of clothing including sweatpants for pyjamas, socks, underwear
* Shaving mirror, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream can, motorless toothbrush
Bluetooth speaker, 2 x lights with USB rechargers
*Small amount of soaking powder for laundry
* 2 Lighters, can opener, chopsticks, KFC serviette pack
*Spare plastic bags
*Vessel registration certificate (in my name), registration next due 10/18/2022
*Detailed dossiers of yacht history, for me to study, show insurance company
*Book on Buddhism, stowed with yacht dossiers in pigeonhole
* 1 white metallic flagon full of water, to stay on board.
1x portion of rope, might try making some kind of ladder to stay in water for boarding from swimming position
* Blue tac, iron pills (must bring more vitamin pills), earphones, hook.
* USB Wall socket. Interestingly Australia and China both have the same style wall sockets which are prongs on 45 degree slopes. Must get solar power battery for USB whatever
* Straw hat with hammer motif, might rip that band off. Hat stays on board.
Have set up small quarter gallon rectangular binny bearsin' (waste disposal) which is by the third starboard window, the smallest one. The port side only has two I can see which are about a foot and a half long each, opposite the two big starboard side ones. It has begun to rain so will close the bow hatch above zee bed. Made zee bed already. Must bring sleeping bags next time. Where the hell is my backup Nokia, whose fricking sunglasses was I wearing, someone's Polaroid? Mysterious.
*Have changed my car keys for utility vehicle so they have a floating buoy in case they fall in the water. Not sure how difficult it will be to board kayak when departing boat. Maybe will have to repair kayak holes with more gaffer tape as water gets me wet. Ride to boat takes like one minute, super close to departure point. Hopefully kayak will be safe unchained on beach. Must label kayak tomorrow with permanent marker.
I went to a party once for the daughter of some Australian movie director here in Avalon once like 23 years ago. The girl's father made some movie with Hugh Jackman called paperback hero. I showed him one of my student films and he was interested, he said to look him up in a few years, maybe I will.
There's a house nearby that advertises on a box trailer for converting films to digital or something like that. I have a roll of film most likely my father made. Somehow it made it thru a year in the garage with the Salt family living there. It's in my utility vehicle so I'll probably drop in to those guys for a quote. I definitely want to see about getting a small box trailer such as they have. I forgot to get toilet paper but can wipe my ass with wet wipes. Can shower at middle harbour yacht club tomorrow morning.
Hopefully this will turn out to be a good buy. Not a goodbye overly expensive vehicle like that 650cc motorbike I was riding for like 19 months. Those Koreans really outdid themselves when it came to making a shit bike, Jesus.

I'm lying under the square shaped hatch which is now open. I have the feeling I'm going to be extremely comfortable with my new bed. This Ukraine business is a total storm in a teacup if ever there was one. There's a complete misunderstanding that lets Biden rule and talk about Congo or whatever. I told you about Afghanistan you needed to keep the land bordering China then start moving everyone to your new country there and let the Taliban have theirs. You only need a little patch the size of greater LA or whatever but what borders China. Then allow Uyghurs in. Seal up Taiwan and I tried mentioning to Chris Salcedo recently he shouldn't have let Hong Kong go so easily (Trump). Trump might get re-elected but that doesn't mean Biden couldn't be re-elected before or after that. Russia doesn't want to go to war but they have loads of Russians and pro Russian ppl in Ukraine plus why wouldn't they take their port at Sevastopol like they did. Would be crazy not to. Stars have lit up the sky through the hatch.
Note: bring telescope for stargazing and lenses. Bring one guitar. Bring sleeping bags. Bring insect repellent.
Baker and Kennedy go very well together. It would be good for the two to share a show together. Kind of like Alan Colmes and moi back a few years ago when I was often on his radio show. Time to close zee hatch as it's raining again and cover up with blanky bearsin' (rug up). Didn't bring a pillow but have a life jacket bearsin' anyway.
Forgot to perform my prayers. Rain wet my face a little anyway through the hatch so that's Islamic.
