Dear Mr REDACTED
Thank you for speaking to me on the phone prior to Court this morning.
I confirm that I am the Transport for NSW prosecutor allocated to the above matter.
In our discussion, I confirm that you indicated you were agreeable to a withdrawal on the basis that each party bears its own costs.
I can confirm that, as per our discussion, I mentioned the matter on your behalf at Court this morning and withdrew the one charge of ‘drive use mobile phone.’
Please let me know if you have any question.
OFFICIAL
Kind regards,

Yo, my boss/business colleague/co-parent was telling me about one of her American colleagues, Justice, how he was charged with the same traffic matter (criminal) listed above. He plead guilty and paid and I plead innocent and was called by the prosecutor this morning to state he was dropping the case. He also wanted to know if I would be happy not to press them for Court costs (in English law you can sue for Court costs in a winning case or case like this.
My immediate defence when I got the fine was that the photo they showed looked like licorice (imprecise photos). In Court today I would have said no comment to any kind of questioning aimed at self incrimination. This is an English common law right as well as a statute in NSW legal code. The standard of proof is beyond a reasonable doubt which is basically impossible to prove just based on a grainy, imprecise photo. I'm allowed to drive and hold licorice in my hand although not as a public passenger vehicle operator (we're not allowed to eat and drive bus but you can bring your comfort parrot or beagle).
Was watching Jo Pinion on Newsmax talking about some guy locked up for 25 years on a mandatory charge. It's funny because in Florida they have stand your ground laws but sometimes people just go to jail potentially for a very long time because they are found not to be standing their own ground but going too far, shooting people.
O [sic] Pinion on Newsmax was making a direct plea to Florida governor De Santis to commute this case. It seems like something he would probably do along with other cases all at once. Unfortunately the news cycle guys on big american news channels are a bit like little kids in the schoolyard, all playing together and co-dependent and reactionary. And media in general are not the kind of people to look back at past cases they've mentioned. I'm not holding my breath for Joe to mention this case again even if De Santis does end up commuting this case.

Looking at tennis, I don't normally do that much. I did watch a Spaniard on tv recently playing in the Australian tennis in Sydney. Perhaps a slight patriotic bubble inside me bubbled up for him. Looking at Djokovic, considering he's a Serb and I spent two years in Bulgaria. As I'm not really from those necks of the woods and not a big fan of tennis, I don't have any opinion of Djokovic apart from he has a very big body and is very good at tennis. I recently read he believes emotions can change the shape of water molecules in the body. That's probably true. Where belief ends and emotions begin, I couldn't tell you, but I daresay the difference between faith or belief and emotions is a real interesting thing. I suppose emotions are of the heart and beliefs are of the head.
It seems more people gathered to protest in Belgrade about Djokovic's detention understand how governance in Australia works better than many Australians themselves. People often don't understand which government department is wielding the relevant power and just think it's the President's fault or the Prime Minister's fault. Often the media will collude and exploit this ignorance (dumbsploitation)® out of a need for attention and sales and also to satisfy their individual narcissistic needs for validation between lines of cocaine (is that fair to say?)
The more subnormal the journalist's personal inner self (not outer ego), the more they need to validate themselves as normal and relevant outwardly.
Anyway Djokovic's matter is an immigration matter for a judge at a Court. As a media matter, it has potential to be a big story for all the little unimportant people out there that can't fly around and do whatever any more because of the china virus. Seems like a different set of rules apply for the a-listers these days.
