remember that classic line from 'the big lebowski'? ..... actually we're talking about tows, having just put a tow-bar on the 6 cylindir commodore, it's time to tow something, otherwise why shell out the money for the tow bar? so now trying to get quotes on renting a caravan or camper-trailer for a few days to spend a few days camping with it this coming january (summer)

so just signed up for more private health care, it's called 'private' but in somewhat socialist australia, that means it qualifies for so many government subsidies, it's only private in the sense that it's optional for users and the service provider is a private company that incorporates numerous government subsidies, not necessarily big ones.......... surprisingly though, signing up for two months, getting dental after that waiting period, then getting the rebate on dental, then signing off works out cheaper than just paying the dentist the normal price, so it's all pretty subsidized by taxpayers........

tried signing on to www.healthcare.gov   the u.s. government's new public healthcare website, totally dead though
