do you ever remember playing war gods on the nintendo 64 while listening to rock music AND a narration of the bible all at the same time? I do.... but then again, i was a big pothead in those days
anyway, maybe that's why i'm just a taxi driver now, all that pot, or whatever........ the point is, as far as taxi-driving goes, i had a kabuki jo fatality moment today (where i was kabuki jo)........
first of all, after cracking my knuckles, as it were, i do an airport job to putney....after eating a pork sandwich, a side of pork i bothered to fry myself, despite having the mother-in-law here and being mothered for the longest time in my life so far.......since my mother never mothered me much, and none of my girlfriends did either, and even my wife doesn't bother much...... unfortunately maybe, for women living with me in the past, it was like living with an equal, slightly monstrous man.........the upside were my biceps and general good looks i guess......and they probably enjoyed cooking nothing for me, sewing nothing for me, generally doing nothing female for me apart from sex........ even my wife seems this way........ she never did seem to cook much for me, or iron, and i couldn't hold it against her as she was always so busy with work.....however, 6 months of maternity leave, i didn't see much ironing......... in spain it was always, i want to go shopping at zara and general bitching........ suffice from last post and earlier today, i was extremely pissed with her to the point of actually looking at a room for rent not far from where my son here lives, the latest issue, apart from being pissed with her in general due to lack of her doing enough shit during her maternity leave (like driving for her own ebay purchases which were for the kid anyway), the latest issue that really broke the camel's back was to do with parenting........she was pissing me off..........her mother is smart, she has been accumulating alot of browny points by always cooking and cleaning and she even irons my taxi uniforms..........now i'm working 60 hours a week so that's greatly appreciated........also, no woman before her (my mother in law from russia) has EVER ironed clothes for me for 3 weeks straight, EVER........ none of my ex-girlfriends, have ever ironed anything for me, one of them talked lamely about maybe getting married and cooked a little but there was no ironing

anyway, so i was driving down morrison road in putney, it's the only morrison road in sydney, saw hailers, first dropped my airport people, got the hailers, they are going to the super bowl here of rugby which is called the 'grand final' - very irish sounding....... they ask me at the end if my accent is canadian or american so i tell them canadian, then i am non-plussed by their next question: what part of canada? i have no idea what part of canada my canadian accent is from as i don't know much about canada and have only spent less than 1 hour on canadian soil before being sent back to the new york side of the border in a taxi......... it's easier to say i have a canadian accent then whine about the world-wide global conspiracy amongst anglo-saxon types in canada/america/new zealand/australia/england/scotland against little old spaniards like me and the dirty arabs/jews, etc........ so much easier just to say 'canadian' over 'american' --- just don't ask too many questions

anyway, at superbowl, after dropping the friends of canada, two slobs and their sick buddy get in, they pay me a whopping $30 for a half mile ride, ca-ching, and then pay-dirt, kind of, 2 x $285 tickets to the canadian superbowl! as they cannot attend coz their buddy drank too much, kick-off has just ocurred, i could try scalping them but the car and uniform is a liability, i call my wife and tell her she must attend! despite being extremely pissed off with her, this is the perfect excuse to make up, even with the baby, who i had avoided playing with and completely avoided, much to my own dismay, due to his mother's bitchiness, i put him in a baby seat and carried it to my taxi and drove him, his mother and grandmother to the canadian superbowl stadium where the eastern sydney roosters played the manly sea-eagles in the rugby......... $285 tickets, can you believe it?!
on saturday night, i hung out with my mother, avoiding the wife and baby due to being pissed off....... chilling with my mother had a calming and soothing effect, my angry mood dissipated temporarily around her..... i watched a discovery channel documentary, troy mcclure (you might remember him from laramy cigarrette commercials) goes to arnhem land far north australia to an aboriginal mission to go spearfishing.... he is shocked that 4 packs of cigarrettes (they can cost $22 a pack here) and 5 cans of soda can run to $99.... it makes mississippi tobacco look extremely cheap (by the way, the finns are paying 5 euros a pack, the spaniards less and the french a whopping 7.50 euros and the english even more).......

anyway i ended up making $555 in 11.5 hours of driving, it doesn't get any better than that, financially, let me tell you (often making under $20 an hour during shifts) - also had another ex-IRA affiliate type customer - will try email interviewing him and reporting back on this blog about it
anyway, baltimore are playing the miami dolphins who were in that movie ace ventura pet detective..... i still haven't seen the houston texans or whatever that texans team is called but i really want to see one of their games this season for some reason, don't know if they can win outright though, don't know enough about the intricacies of it all
miami scored at the end of 2nd quarter... got to go to sleep it's 530am........ have to work monday and maybe pay a bill first........ no-one has done the 'sweep the leg' move in any american football games i've seen so far, still waiting for that, or a kabuki jo styled fatality, which would also be well-received
