IT'S FUNNY.... coz about a week ago Dana the hot blonde on fox news shows some picture W Bush did of his dog Barney and i was looking at it thinking, gee that's really not that bad! then it got me to thinking of a book by my favorite writer, H Spencer Lewish wrote called '1000 years of yesterday' -- in it his main character starts recalling a previous lifetime he had spent in France entirely as an artist - broke and destitute......... then started wondering if Bush spent a lifetime as a painter -- very possible -- people's residual skills in their Soul don't come out of thin air -- just saying -- look what some art critic thinks of some of Bush's unpublished hacked drawings: "The reclusion and seclusiveness of the pictures evoke the quietude (though not the insight, quality, or genius) of certain Chardin still lifes. These are pictures of someone dissembling without knowing it, unprotected and on display, but split between the promptings of his own inner drives and limited by his abilities. They reflect the pleasures of disinterestedness. A floater. Inert. The images of a man who saw the entire world from the inside but who finds the smallest, most private place in a private home to imagine his universe. Of almost nothingness. Sweet, sublime, oblique oblivion. The visibility of invisibleness. Concluding, Saltz urges Bush to “paint more. Please.” And he suggests—seriously, we think—that the Whitney Museum of American Art “get on the stick and offer this American a show.” We concur, paint more Bush!
