Wow what a staggered sleep weekend. As the cold weather approaches, I'm commencing my second winter as a 'full time' gardener. Very unlikely I can make $911 a week gardening in the cold months, possibly less than half that. So that means it's time to drive bus more than just once a week. Sundays are best as double pay... $47 u.s. per hour. Better than unpaid intern money.
So on 9pm Friday night I went into all nighter shift, extremely rare for me normally to work after 2am. This time til 5am. So those five hours after midnight are time and a half, as it's a Saturday, $35 per hour. But the sleep hour we're off the charts, to make that work I had to sleep 90 minutes Friday afternoon around 5pm plus in the bus midway through shift another 90 minutes around midnight Friday night. Then from 5pm to 10pm Saturday night to get all the catch up sleep. Then from around midnight Saturday night (two hours after waking up) until 5am this morning. I would have slept til six am or later but I set my alarm for 5am. Had a shower and drove to work.
Now at bus depot it's time to drive bus again. 730am Sunday morning.
