Peewee soccer coaching

My favorite coach:

Alright so the first session went ok. I've handed out around seven official game day jerseys including to my daughter. It's mostly boys but a mixed team around 9 years old and under. I've handed out training balls also and one kid is fairly autistic so might be MIA a lot but my daughter's buddy might sub in as a casual replacement or outright join officially. Actually some of these kids are ten, not nine, now that I think of it.

So I myself has done a three hour course for coaches, giving me some ideas for coaching drills. One activity that wasn't on the coaches course, but that I wanted to impress the kids with was shoot for goal from midfield/defence spot, why not? A lot of peewee soccer is crowding the ball, crowding even your own teammates so we want to avoid that too.

Another activity is two on one drills, trying to score two against one. One on one drills, bullrush, shark and fish.

Another activity I learned at the coaching course was traffic lights so green light dribble red light foot on the ball. I'll have to find out the PDF file then copy paste it into this spot.
