toys

actually, that last idea doesn't much inspire to write anything about it, although it would be cool to go party one night with aforementioned two dudes............. actually the mood is to write about toys a little and the mind of a small child............ in bulgarian, 'toy' means 'he' so if you want to say toy you would actually say 'igra'......... don't speak much bulgarian these days, however, occasionally much talk to it my son a little.........did so earlier, about 14 hours or so ago to my kid in the car and he started slapping himself in the head a little, which is undesirable behavior that needs to be curbed.........also atypical for him, thankfully, it's not something he wants to do........ as a joke, to dismiss it, i started saying, 'ne! stiga!' which is bulgarian for, 'no, stop!' in a high pitched falsetto voice as if imitating his mother as she has often said this to him somewhat shrilly over the two short years of his life..........it's been a long-running joke between us for a while now, quite a few months for me to imitate her and say, 'ne! stiga!', when he is doing something naughty, and he always finds it very amusing and starts laughing wholeheartedly......... he probably notices his mother is a little dismayed by this send up too....... he found it very amusing again earlier, during said car ride, however, as his slapping behavior was only coaxed on by the opportunity for a laugh, hearing, 'ne, stiga!' a few more times, i had to flip over to very stern, commanding voice to get him to stop........unfortunately, he hates very stern, commanding voice and it always makes him start pouting as if in great emotional dismay........ i hate to do that to him but some behaviors have to be curbed..........

anyway, about toys.........with his toys, i try to recycle them a little bit, occasionally buying new ones and putting old ones away, also he will become very interested in a certain toy and then lose interest....... i'm also interested to download more games for his android tablet.......... he certainly likes i-phone games and using the tv controller and is becoming a real couch potato with his kids tv shows........

i recall as a kid having a big van toy and a jumbo jet toy in kindergarden which was my second year of school after pre-school....... i was never interested to play with them much and preferred to give the van to the kid i perceived as very popular.... everyone would follow him around and watch him play with the van and maybe he shared it with them, can't really remember.........another kid, maybe it was some kid called robert that was with me in pre-school the prior year, i'd give him my jet plane to play with........ generally pre-school was a lot better as we had finger-painting and a slippery slide and kindergarden was too focused on language work like constructing sentences with little kits we had which i didn't really like much and coloring in sheets that introduced roman letters one by one....... maybe one per week......... also in subsequent years like first grade i noticed a lot of the boys were really obsessed with marbles which i found somewhat childish....... i'm not sure what i was doing all that time during breaks when kids were playing with marbles but i can certainly understand why my boy is so happy now going to daycare three days a week as he is really enjoying the companionship and atmosphere there a lot it seems........ i was with him at daycare briefly on friday and he said, 'i want to play', which is his longest sentence so far i guess........ then i had to ask him later why he can talk at daycare but only seems to babble a lot at home...... anyway, i really want him to get a solid grounding in spanish language, even just comprehension without practicing speaking by age seven so that later on as a teenager, he can go do an exchange program in spain or peru or somewhere and learn spanish or just learn spanish anyhow, although it's easier as a teenager

i also mentioned the treehouse toy i had earlier on this blog and how surprised i was to see it again at some hypno-therapist's practice during some hyno-birthing classes taken over two years ago...... that was also a very cool toy that you don't see around a lot...... i also recall, mostly just from photos, having a very cool tricycle as a four year old........oh and my father wouldn't let me have a toy gun so i had to make an uzi-style machine gun just out of kinking a black tube and then hide it from my dad under my bed or somewhere and practice gunning people down when he wasn't around......... i was definitely very militant about the value of political assassinations as a four or five year old because i remember watching some news story about some african dictator like edi amin and asking my father why someone didn't just kill him.........looking back, i guess no-one in his country could get close enough to him, and really, these dictators do bring a lot of law and order to their crazy nations, saddam hussein being no exception to that rule, it definitely sucks balls that his regime was so big on torture and gassing kurds and stuff like that............ we actually have assyrians here in australia that were born and raised to a young age in saddam's iraq before somehow being able to on migrate to somewhere else like greece or somewhere, not sure how

treating of spanish language, a moment ago, it's a very mindblowing thing to realize that, 'estaba yo viendo', is homophonous to 'estaba lloviendo'......... of course that's only if you have a mind bent on linguistic analysis a lot of the time, otherwise it wouldn't be of much interest to you very likely
