'parently that's u.s. military jargon for Bunch Of Guys Sitting Around Talking or basically what the talking heads at fox news do on a regular basis..........not having seen any o'reilly for many moons now, nor their talking heads: colonel hunt, colonel mustard (made that one up), professor green (sorry that's another cleudo name character)..... anyway, you know, goldberg and the other jewish guy krauthammer and the miller guy -- just not tuning in so not sure what their BOGSAT about 'Islamic State' in syria/iraq is

but reading some various newspaper articles about it recently, here's what we deduce

some american journalist was recently beheaded and it shocked the pants of all the people that forgot that this was happening every second day, virtually, in iraq under bush - or something near to it - temporary amnesia can do that to you

the dynamic in iraq and subsequently syria should be seen as a bush/obama thing --- bush started it in the first place, it was completely him and his people that wanted to go there --- and a bunch of americans......

obama is the exact opposite, he's a total isolationist.............

this isn't pointing fingers, saying 'told you so' - -because we never told you anything of worth on this blog except the whole thing is a mess

but remember mccain was saying, let's arm the syrian rebels -- we actually agreed with him at the time! well it turns out america did arm those very same rebels! indirectly by virtue of arming the iraqis and then those rebels taking the arms......... obama did nothing in syria and now a lot of people are calling to attack the very people they would have been supporting and arming against the syrian president only a year ago!

so clearly the whole situation there is a mess.............. all this talk about 'destroying IS' is absolutely crazy talk......... nothing is going to be destroyed there...... all they can do there is protect some interests like big oil, the shi-ite govt. in baghdad............ dysfunctional! the american military wouldn't even sell fighter planes to the shi-ite govt. they set up in baghdad at such cost..... and then the russians came in and did it in a heartbeat, and what is that govt. doing with those russian fighter planes?

and there's a story about the u.s. military not having 'good intelligence on the ground there in IS land'.... really!? there aren't enough satellites to see a million different things to bomb?

and the really smart thing that someone said: there's no strategy, without a strategy there's no way forward

and then you have Dempsey talking about building a coalition with the Europeans! a coalition of what? french fry producers? maybe they can have a coalition that changes all the french fries around the world into freedom fries! fuck having a coalition with Europe, that just sounds clueless

how about - keep IS away from targets you don't want them having? oh yeah, Barry doesn't want to bomb anything, fodot (forgot - [sic])

that's my BOGSAT, but it was really just one guy, not bunch of guys, and typing, not talking so really, ODLAT - one dude lying around typing

oh, almost forgot, the 'danger' of importing 'home-grown' terrorists back from the war zone........ really? can we all just breath easy, knowing that internet surveillance is at an all time high and all the home grown terrorists are probably all spotted and accounted for? people have always been able to make home made bombs - all they need is a bunch of petrol and a car, they've been doing it in iraq for years and years under bush, killing 200 at a hit, and in pakistan too........... the whole goddam nutjob 'islamic' world took a big breather under obama...........just accept the fact that these guys love fighting and they don't give a rat's arse about the civilian populations they are brutalizing in iraq under the pretense of making them strictly observant of 'religion' (that stinks!) - lock them up already if they are u.s. or australian citizens the minute they get off an airplane deciding their bloody holiday adventure is over and they want to go back to selling watermelons

home grown terrorism, give me a break! if people can't procure RPGs here in australia or america then they can't take down a landing jumbo jet and any monkey that can pump gas can build a big enough bomb to mass murder people if they really want to............the majority of moslems in australia and america are not disaffected whackjobs but happy and hard working citizens........ not a threat......... don't tell us the intelligence agencies don't have the 'home grown' terrorists on their fun fighting holidays in syria/iraq fichados (spotted)
