It's Spanish for hot oven, speaking of the devil, couldn't say no to a single hob induction cooker the other day in Gosford at only $100 AUD.
I actually had randomly acquired an induction cooking pot like a few months ago and had been using it to catch rainwater for my fish tank. I expanded fishy family from one big guy to four more smaller fishies I collected from my neighbours fish pond. I had been keeping tabs on rainwater and heat evaporation from my fishtank in this wise for months now. Noting the main rainy weather system prior to the current one sitting over us was around last May. Of course 2022 saw almost unprecedented levels of rainfall around Sydney and Gosford.
Anyway induction cooking sets up an electromagnetic field into the pot or frypan which needs to be a special kind with a special base. You immediately notice the water warming up much quicker than with a regular heat based system.
