If you think about the drug MDMA, ecstasy or Mollie, all the same drug, more or less, you probably wouldn't disagree military strategists had given its potential uses in a military setting, thought. Of course as a treatment for PTSD for traumatized soldiers and citizens, but that's strictly a medical application.
But how about as a means of drugging enemy combatants? That's really a military thing, like a supervirus, should one be developed and unleashed one day. Also a localised virus such as Zika virus might have been, possibly developed in the United states as a potential weapon.
But how about using an enemy's water supply to drug them with MDMA? Or drugging entire populations through orally ingested foods. If you see people on an airplane consider they always accept the crappy food on offer. Easy to drug ppl by offering free food. However, with the da Vinci weapon invention part of my brain, I can't help but think there might be some gaseous way to release vapours which can carry essences like MDMA and make them docile. Especially nowadays as the future American airpower will involve massive clusters of mini drones that cannot be stopped but to the hundreds and hundreds of them, this kind of delivery system can easily project vapours, potentially noiselessly. It's one for DARPA no doubt.
With regards to the war in Afghanistan, from what I've understood from my sources, the us military has a kind of laser beam technology projected noiselessly from safe distances, perhaps by high flying planes, that can cause fires amongst foliage on the ground, and they have the capability to destroy extremely large amounts of Afghanistan's crops in this way (mostly opium poppy). I think there was never the political will to do that, but given the recent debacles, if Trump gets re-elected, if the electoral system can be saved from tyranny, then he could do that. However because of the hierarchy of dummies giving dummy and cretin advice, this may not seem feasible or desirable. Still Afghanistan is like a drug addict, heroin junky. I mean lots of them are addicted to heroin there. If you had a friend you could kidnap and lock up on their farm and force them off their heroin addiction, would you try it? That'd be really tough love and a real intervention.
But anyway that's a strategy for years, not the breathless moment of a sound byte on tv with its little endorphin hit. Or a campaign rally. Something that can really be done if the political will could be brought to bear. Certainly China's government does not answer to anyone but their own sense of fear of retaliation or possible future bad karma.
