A face only a mother could love

Kidspot: Mum hits back at cruel trolls that tell her to 'put her baby out of his misery'.

You'd be familiar with that expression. I found this mother's love for her baby refreshing and heartwarming. Feeling a little crook today, got covid tested yesterday, for the third or fourth time. Not feeling so good. Definitely having a little problem.

BTW noone should make fun of Amy  [sic] of my dance moves or choreography. Think of the mom in this story and what she says: don't just talk without thinking.

However my problem has been dating back for months, sometimes I wake up with a bad headache. It could be my electric blanket in the winter isn't letting my body distribute/ manage heat properly. Or I'm not getting enough oxygen coz of snoring and need a sleep apnea machine.

So hopefully will get a negative test result today or preferably tomorrow and back to work after that. I haven't been getting enough exercise lately and drinking too much coffee. Also eating a lot. Intermittent fasting one month a year for a few years now has helped.

Because it's Monday (Sunday in America):

Guess I can't catch Tucker Carlson bitching like a woman needing a beating, as the Chinese media says about England's navy, so I can only hope his ppl can sort out his hysteria issues, consider the scene from the movie Airplane:

Here he is! Speak of the devil! Can't imagine he shot this in the last twenty hours being that's his Sunday but who knows, maybe he works Saturdays or it's from his Friday.... can you imagine if Steyne has a run in with the real Good Ole Boys from the Blues Brothers? He'd probably wish he was Tucker getting slapped in the face by producers for being too giggly

Just had a little nap, feeling better, three kids can wear you down too.... Here's the place, right Steyne?

Ok so Fox news Sunday line up is generally Levin, judge Jeanine, Hilton. Now they've got Trey Gowdy. Normally wouldn't watch Levin, have never actually watched any of his shows in entirety of one whole episode and rarely watch minor portions. However he seems to be making sense:

Kids are back from school and my headache abated slightly after naptime but is still around. Trying to self isolate and take it easy out of earshot of the kids. Might take another ibuprofen. Had ginger beer and tacos and a Mexican style tortilla for the whole day's meal. I mean breakfast was like two string beans or something. Levin and Tiffany are talking about cannibalism is USSR and china respectively. Gross.

Now Levin's talking to Marco Rubio who I think has a Cuban background. He just finished dissing the NY times for being Marxist which is fine by me. I might make some notes about one of my buddies who I nicknamed Marx, in my crackpotty crank kind of way, but not right now. When you consider New York used to be new Amsterdam and is around five hundred years old, even older than the first English settlement in Virginia, Jamestown. Well perhaps consider I might also be ill today from bleaching my hard earned house thanks also to low interest rates. Bleach was dripping on me and I might have drank a drop or two by accident while pointing my head up and scrubbing mold with a long broom.

Anyway when you consider the musical note system I outlined yesterday based on America's birthday being July 4. Because many of the founding fathers were possibly affiliated with freemasonry, like Franklin, they may have been aware of these dates, however ultimately it was God's will and a divine decree from God more or less directly I suppose, or through Gods laws, that the next wave of human evolution, which truly dates many many millions of years, should kick off July 4th, as a reform movement. This didn't mean that New Amsterdam or later new York never had its own birthday before that which likely falls at a different time of the year. In fact if I Google the settlement date if new Amsterdam, let's see:

More or less where the world trade centers were, the original settlement began in 1624. That's around 152 years before Congress with Jefferson and co.  Many other settlements began, some were communities of Freemasons and the like, eg., in Pennsylvania, others were religious Puritans from England. Many other European settlers besides.

Man Levin is not kidding about a corrupt media. But there's always been corruption with politics and power so I'm not too worried about it.

Ok here you go: the early dutch explorers, going back almost five hundred years now, were looking for a passage to India like Colombus only a few decades earlier. Instead they found an abundance of beaver pelts which were highly prized in Europe. I mean of course beaver pelts are highly prized in Europe, come on man, what century are we in? I mean I prized beaver pelts in Europe in the 20th century, I guess. Maybe I'm confused, about the century or something, but it's understandable how these first dutch settlers thought: let's find a shortcut to India, maybe the world's flat, oh look beavers everywhere, let's kill them and sell their furs and make a fortune. That's hair for you bro. Probably why Marx wanted lots of it.

That's a complicated and interesting history, I might read up on it later, what I'm seeing is the native Americans were in a position of strength around the Hudson river and people with mixed Spanish African blood could not just be enslaved automatically if they were free people. Not everyone was super white. Neither were they slaves. It seems that the American Indians could never be enslaved because they were never docile.

I'm guessing the birthday is in may 1624 however would need to check, clearly celebrating their own early history is not popular with new Yorkers...

Lot of history, new Amsterdam settlement is separate from Haarlem settlement, both become documented towns in 1652 ish

New Amsterdam received municipal rights on February 2, 1653, thus becoming a city. Albany, then named Beverwyck, received its city rights in 1652. Nieuw Haarlem, now known as Harlem, was formally recognized in 1658.

The first Jews known to have lived in New Amsterdam arrived in 1654. First to arrive were Solomon Pietersen and Jacob Barsimson, who sailed during the summer of 1654 directly from Holland, with passports that gave them permission to trade in the colony.[18] Then in early September, 23 Jewish refugees arrived from the Brazilian city of Recife, which had been conquered by the Portuguese in January 1654.[19] The director-general of New Netherland, Peter Stuyvesant, sought to turn them away but was ultimately overruled by the directors of the Dutch West India Company in Amsterdam.[20] Asser Levy, an Ashkenazi Jew who was one of the 23 refugees, eventually prospered and in 1661 became the first Jew to own a house in New Amsterdam, which also made him the first Jew known to have owned a house anywhere in North America.[21]

Very good place for Jews, NYC, super safe and welcoming.
