Situation in Israel

https://youtu.be/fnd6TqjF9gw

I found a surprising story recently about the Australian billionaire James Packer and his cosy relationship with Bibi and Bibi's wife (next door neighbours) and general chuminess with Israeli 'royalty' like Shimon Peres. Since I don't want to be unfairly prejudiced I mostly avoid looking into Israeli news. Since I've been there around April 2002 a few days and understand IBM helped the Nazis systematically murder oh like 7 MILLION JEWS, who's counting though, oh yeah, IBM with punch cards.

Anyway some scandals came up around Netanyahu and corruption and the Mossad chief was saying James Packer is a liability or something. It's like an episode of neighbours, where's bouncer?

That's a pity about the recent violence there. Pretty sure Israel can bomb Iran whenever they feel like it. It's a pity for the people in Gaza trying to do the right thing, very sad for everyone, war isn't fun.

There's a new guy trying to clamber on top, can't remember his name Yael or something, not sure his politics, very uninformed. Very sad all that bad blood though. It's got to hurt.

Check out this cat escaping a fire in Chicago, jumps five stories and luckily lands on springy grass, bounces, walks off. Beautiful.

See further to that last point: not about the cat but the Israelis, if you look at this recent newsmax video about the current conflict:

They show some very exciting footage of the missile attack and defence which is fairly stunning however I find their talking points off. As I mentioned, I'm not well informed, however when Newsmax mentions Biden's government upping funding of the Palestinians, they immediately infer it must be negative. However I find they do this in a way that seems to ignore the reality that many Arabs are actual citizens of Israel (unlike me, say, or the Newsmax folks), many other Arabs most likely live permanently in Jerusalem as non citizens, like the ones I was running into in Jerusalem around the intifadi in April 2002 there. Many other Arabs most likely live in Gaza and walk across the border daily to work in Israel proper same as Mexicans that live on the Mexican side of the border and walk to school everyday on the Texan side of the border then back home to the Mexican side every night for dinner and sleep.

Obviously in Jerusalem there are machine guns and uzis and rifles and pistols everywhere you look, including on the young women who are soldiers. Helicopters hovering about. Any arab can get on your bus and blow it up. So I can't see how funding regular Palestinians automatically increases the risk of terrorist funding. If there isn't any real reporting about it you just wouldn't know. The Israeli voting population, including the Arab Israeli citizens that vote, are one of the most diverse and divergent and knowledgeable electorates in the world and the political parties there are on a knife edge. No doubt many left wing Israeli politicians would lobby to lift the Palestinian Arabs, especially the non Israeli citizens, out of poverty. That's my understanding.

Again, Hamas and Hezbollah are practically the same thing, so it doesn't even matter if you're talking about Iranians or Palestinians because it's either is it Hamas/Hezbollah or isn't it. Iran can get all the money they want selling oil to China and Iran has always been cozy with Russia so I can't see how this is at all related to Democrat and Republican in America. Certainly there are rich fly-in fly-out American Jews in Israel that only stay around to satisfy some romantic or sentimental notions then eventually just go home to America where the money is. But so many Israelis don't even speak English and some actually want to marry Arabs. Also Israel is very cozy with China and vicaversa even though China is best buddies with their natural enemy which seems to be Iran. See why I avoid relationships!

Unless you're like Indiana Jones and the pretty student in your class is blinking at you with 'i love you' written on her eyelids, it's like, what's the point bro?

Interesting view into Israel from Indian channel WION.... Is that Pacman on WIONs logo? We don't know
