More WION, on Jerusalem

It's said that the human body is the temple of the soul. Many pious figures that appear in the Torah, the Koran and the Bible such as Moses, David, Joseph and Benjamín, Jesus and others, all could pay their respects to God (piety), without even appearing in a temple neither submitting to the authority of any intermediary priesthood. Similarly, Jewish priests are disdained by Jesus, Egyptian priests are overwhelmed by Moses and no priests could help David after his actions with Uriah and his wife.
Nevertheless it's true that God encourages places of worship such as mosques and for the Jews, a place for their ark and burned offerings.
Since many religionists insist on public worship, even at the risk of being, as the Koran refers to non pious enough Muslims as: lazy to get to prayer, clappers and mumblers or the like, praying to be seen by others (also something Jesus famously wasn't fond of, the latter). And it wouldn't be appropriate to assault the Muslim golden dome mosque in Jerusalem, I cannot understand the fixation of the Jews to build a temple there.
In fact, since Jesus referring to rebuilding the temple in three days refers, in my opinion to the way he recreated his own body (the temple) after its destruction from the crucifixion, while in Joseph of Aramea's expensive grotto/tomb, recovering, as it were. And the reasons I've mentioned above, I'm somewhat sceptical of public worship. However, since even God itself recommends it, I can only offer my own opinions based on my own understanding of the matter.
Therefore, I cannot understand why Jews would insist on the site of the golden mosque for any special temple. I'll explain why, I recall during my long weekend in Jerusalem visiting from Paris, I stayed in the old part of the city with a likeable old new York City lady, American actually. Her buddy was a British guy also over sixty (I was almost 26 at the time). From the bathroom there was an impressive view of the golden dome mosque and the actual golden dome, so you could see it while you showered. Clearly I remember it was lower down in altitude so why wouldn't you build a temple way up there not way down there? Also nowadays you can just build a temple on posts that don't require flattening any of the old city under it which I think alot of people don't want to see ruined as many little streets and walkways are as they were at least two thousand years ago. Also I don't think you need a big temple either. I mean I can't really understand these dead letter enthusiasts. Consider that the leading Jewish priests, the Sadducees or Pharisees (can't remember which was which) were criticizing Jesus and his buddies for eating corn during the Sabbath. That's dead letterism. Even the Koran says it's more important to do good deeds than worry if you're exactly pointing the right way towards Mecca when you pray. To my mind the real estate in the old city is much better than the golden dome mosque location. I don't really understand the Jewish temple itself much apart from I suppose there would be a Shekinah which would be the most important thing and there'd already be a lot of understanding among Jewish scholars how that should be.
