trees
hi doodsies..... did you know my mom got a degree in horticulture from a university in spain? yup, my father got a degree in law and economics and business management kind of stuff, also in spain, i guess that's why i'm a bus driver and only finished half a degree (in media/film)..... makes sense
so thanks God my mother never told me one goddam thing ever about horticulture but she did seem to like flowers, anyway check out my little garden, to the left.... the big tree is the pine, i planted it very small sapling or adolescent when we moved in and now it's very strong and today i gave it a good haircut as well as doing two mile and a half jogs - total 3 miles....... the other plants in my garden are a red hot chili yielding plant, under the surfboard and an australian native shrub, new arrival and some other little plants..... one year i put in some sunflowers and had the most gorgeous yield and probably put a picture of that on blog at some point already
to the right is a california redwood in rotarua, new zealand.... a very active volcano kind of area with hot bubbling mud and steaming pools of rotten egg gas and such like..... there is a high ash component to the soil/earth so the wood of the california redwood is light and weak and cannot reach its full majesty and power like you see in california....... still a beautiful tree in new zealand though
