Really not a fan of mission impossible or bourbe identity movies. Really only Sean Connery and Roger Moore are good enough for little old moi, in that genre. This movie is a little prophetic in it's talk of spliced DNA tailor made 'chimera' virus.
Nobody could see the dramatic rise of China in the year 2000 when this film was made. Fifteen years can make a pretty big difference in global affairs.
