People need to focus on: Ukraine effectively prosecuting this war. Grain exports from Ukraine and Russia, effect on global food prices. Vladimir Putin's zipper/ego problems and the ramifications. Leadership change in Russia going forward. In a word: reality.

Man Spain is a perfect example for Russia. Not that Russia should be catholic or speak Spanish but Spain represents a strong willed nation perfectly happy to distance itself from its previous colonial interests (everything south of Texas, hello did you notice how Spain turned all of that giant india into southern Spain, anyone noticing?). Spain still doesn't bother learning any English or diluting its culture with anyone, just maintains its treaties with everyone and has something Russia is still too backwards to get: a fully diversified economy.
