I would, I've been thinking to make some applications in due course. Unclear if I could be a cop in my state NSW, due to prior arrests (all in 1999). Would need a special dispensation from police minister or something.
Definitely in the European union I could be a cop. Wouldn't be interested.
In America you never know, they had a cop working many years, very good cop, they found out later he was an illegal alien (Mexican). Only in America.
