Rookwood is, according to the claim Rookwood makes, i think, the biggest cemetery in the southern hemisphere..... i rode Colleen (my newly acquired only 7 days ago 49cc motor scooter) to Rookwood tonight and parked her and took a short jog and walk afterwards....... the ride took only about five minutes from my garage to Rookwood's eaves........ i am well and truly in love with Colleen, my 49cc motor scooter.... it's like that song in Pleasantville: At last my true love has come along......... i've already decided that once i discharge Colleen from service in a year or so, when i have my full license and am ready, i will acquire Britney.... Britney will be at least 250cc, possibly 500cc (ideally i guess) and will be a normal motorbike with gears.... very likely Japanese........... i look forward to doing 110kph on the freeway riding Britney, but for now am enjoying my love affair with Colleen immensely
about Rookwood, let me say that just like the videoclip pegged above, from Pleasantville, lover's lane..... Rookwood cemetery is for me, just such a special place.... however, i do not feel the need to bring any woman or friend or even a dog there, just Colleen is enough (the motor scooter)....... the trees along Rookwood's western perimeter, on East street, which i travelled tonight, it is an exceedingly long street, very long, probably more than a mile, easily....... it borders Rookwood's western perimeter..... the trees are all imports, i've included a photograph above..... my mother actually completed a degree in Spain in Horticulture, however i never did seem to learn much, if anything, about the topic from her, in any case, i observed that one of the pines had small leaves with surprisingly stiff and sharp pricks (see photo right), i have never actually observed this pine before that i can think of.............the tree leaf on the left also a common sight there.........happily absent were the local gum trees which are very ugly and retarded creatures, so common in australia which seems like a retarded continent in its flora and fauna (native).......what lends to Rookwood's mystique, for me, without question, is the fact that it is a place where i witnessed a UFO around early March 2003..... i had taken a jog from the boarding house i stayed a few months on Jersey road in strathfield to Rookwood's eastern perimeter on Weroona Road (the Eastern portion) - it is a divided rode, i rode Colleen up Weroona's western side tonight.........anyway, all those years ago, 11 and a half now, i ran from Jersey Road strathfield, to Weroona, on the eastern side, jumped over the cemetery gates and took a rest after all that jogging (which i did tonight also but without entering the cemetery)..... we mentioned this earlier on this blog, this sighting, the spaceship was an electric silvery blue and shaped like a warplane style although very smooth on the outside and glowing a kind of silvery blue light, i tried seeing if there was a cockpit and a pilot but there was nothing that could be seen, the thing was about 200 yards up in the sky i suppose and kind of heading towards where i was but way up high, it appeared out of invisibility......... doing which does not strike me at all as odd and i'm sure this kind of thing happens with people, actually i've seen this happen with people a number of times just appear out of invisibility.... anyway, there it was in a second or two it had slowly travelled about 200 yards i suppose in a kind of parabola towards up above me, more or less directly, and then shot away from where i was facing into the horizon in about 2 to 3 seconds with a marked and noticeable acceleration, without making any noise or zapping into non-existence, it just smoothly glided away, very quickly -- it was extremely cool --- maybe there was a female driving the thing........... i'm sure aliens out there are doing it all the time and some are male/female whereas others are asexual, having evolved back out of bi-gender races, this must be a universal norm, i reckon, along with the bipedal form...........
anyway, it was with some remembrances of this sight and the feelings it aroused that i found myself strolling along Rookwood's western perimeter, enjoying the ambience..... it is truly a beautiful place, as although it is in a large city of about 5 million people, you might easily feel you are in a small town, in a rural place, even.............. sydney is about the size of LA but with less than half the amount of people so there are many extended places, places with horses, farms, on the perimeters, etc..........
generally its a good opportunity to try to experience the mysterious, going for a walk like that, with the full moon and the artistic smattering of low flying clouds obscuring the moon............much better than being glued to the tv..... there's a chirping of crickets or cicadas or some kind of bichos at the community college grounds across the road, a symphony.......... the sky, an artist's pallet......... the artist, we don't know who it is, but clearly there is some kind of artist, some kind of creator or creators who make us look like insignificant ants, nitwits............ the lofty heights of the atmosphere, someone or something made this possible, the moon, some force created it -- some Intelligence is out there, also flying around in spaceships, what would those magnificent fliers have to say about God?
it would be good to know...........did you know in Russia there is some President of some obscure soviet or russian republic no-one has even heard of who is one of these billionaire oligarchs of Russia, a very busy and important man in Russia, who has openly confessed on russian tv a number of times that space aliens took him into their spaceship into outer space and that he saw space with them from their spaceship......... an amazing story
other stories abound about alien sightings on the internet, it's an amazing topic.........one guy says he's been taken to another planet..............
while it certainly would be a thrill to visit another planet with some space aliens on their spaceship, Benji is happy to merely ride Colleen around at 60kph fearing death from a sidestreet and enjoying the cool breeze....springtime is here and the weather is warm and agreeable........ we are at peace with ourselves.......
some of the gravesites had little colored lights on them tonight, like xmas trees, they seemed to be a chinese styled thing to have such little lights on the gravestones like that, there was a poster saying there's going to be a sculpture walk for another week or so.......... i hope to ride through the cemetery soon in the daytime on Colleen....... the quantity of bones of the deceased in the cemetery does not lend it a morbid feel but rather the place seems full of healthy nitrogen rich fertilizer..... it is a very large ground with many roads and pathways.......... certainly seems an appealing place to get back to nature, here in the midst of suburbia
