obamacare debate on fox news

yesterday before the crazy asian guy beating himself up outside charlie chan's on george street here in sydney, gave a ride in the daylight hours to some doctor guy..... he also spent time in america and canada like alot of professionals here that work in engineering, etc...... he was saying in america it costs a paediatrician (or whatever the doctor is called that delivers babies) a whopping $800,000 a year to insure himself or herself against mal-practice lawsuits in case something goes wrong............ this he said, drives the cost of giving birth in america up considerably, although a normal childbirth is still a reasonable (in my opinion) 7 to 9 thousand dollars..... a caesarian would cost more, this doctor along with the canadians and most australians is in favor of socialized compulsory health care

i was telling him that at least in america before obamacare, people did not have to subsidize smokers due to screening before getting a policy based on your statistical situation.......... however, i just do not know enough about it all.......... i would like to see on fox news someone walk we the viewers through the hang-ups of socialized health care versus private health care in a simple, easy to understand way
