now benji will document his engagement with china:

1) singapore -- january 1996 - few days - level of engagement: introductory - nothing
 2) tibet -- 3 weeks - august 2000 --- level of linguistic engagement: zero
3) some chinese shopkeepers in madrid spain, 2001 --- first asian girlfriend (half asian only - not chinese)

mastery of chopsticks occurs between stages 3 and 4 somehow
 4) travelling to china december 2003 thru march 2005.... engagement: extreme.... acquisition of all of benji's current chinese language skills --- inability to master tones
 5) more time in china september 2005 - february 2006..... more observation.... the only american music benji listens to in china are by niggaz or crazy niggaz (crackers and honkies need not apply, just have a rest)
 6) taxi driving in sydney -- my tones are now extremely kick arse...... acquisition of enough vocabulary would probably lead me to becoming maximum leader of china, too scary .... better not learn any more words

furthermore, Spain needs to reform her education system completely, it is a complete joke.... it is pathetic for people to learn dead languages like greek and latin but not english

people in Spain should make learning english fluently the main goal of their school languages program......no-one in spain learns english properly -- even the australians, who say 'dean' (a university boss) instead of 'teen' (a number between 12 and 20) speak better english

in general, Catholicism is a curse to every nation is is affixed to like a cancer: Croatia, Poland, etc..... Benji would certainly not be inclined to read a biography on Lincoln or anyone else written by a catholic, that's a certainty
