Pentagon looking for ideas how to name their ships? How about naming one after Jim Morrison's father? Or failing that, Scooby Doo....

 

I went back to my Greek teacher and I said, 

'what we're looking for is something which sums up his philosophy'. 

So he put in Greek, "true to his own destiny, true to his own spirit." 

And he went his own way, and he was true to his own ambitions, to his own aspirations. And that was his goal in life and he made it.

Basically he was a good man, a good solid citizen. He had moral and ethical standards that were very high.
