Kind of a big deal probably but yeah my bus driver authority number 471 for new south wales state was issued about 250 fortnights ago on June 15th 2015. The number 471 actually predates the bus authority issuance as it was issued in early 1999 as a taxi authority originally.
No-one will stop you driving a taxi cab around Sydney just based on your American accent dawg, just tell them you came here from California.
