Consider in Nietzsche's day, there was no television or radio and an abundance of churches, Nietzsche didn't like the priesthood, of whom even his father was one, and Nietzsche enjoyed attending church for a while as an infant:
So long as the priest, that denier, calumniator and poisoner of life by profession, still counts as a higher kind of human being, there can be no answer to the question: what is truth? One has already stood truth on its head when the conscious advocate of denial and nothingness counts as the representative of ‘truth'.
Considering the mass media pundits as the new priesthood, I don't think you can find a bigger poisoner of life in Australia than the Australian ABC news channel. What a traumatic and morbid spectacle it represents. Sadly, it is taxpayer funded. The best thing the Liberal Party could do is cut its funding. What a bunch of angry homosexuals!
