China has a great navy but no submarines worth mentioning much. Their fishing fleet as an extension of the Navy and actively rams vessels in their own waters (like Phillipines). Very rarely does the semi absurdist, Washington DC watching 24/7 news cycle note this. However the U.S. coast guard acts with the U.s. navy to half heartedly police this, eg around South America.

The US air force has a striking superiority to the Chinese air force, in contradistinction to the Chinese navy which is much stronger than the Chinese air force. Presently the US air force has changed its posture to have 25 F22 stealth fighters stationed in Guam. I'd put more there and also in South Korea, eg in Gunsan.

Nobody is really pushing back much against the Chinese fishing fleet however just one RPG shot or even a grenade would be a striking deterrent against ramming fishing boats allied with the Chinese Navy (actually trained by them).
