1) Russia is all bark, it's not a concern what they threaten
2) the entire country has been pulverized, can bombing alleviate any misery or just compound it?
The western argument seems to be: aw man chlorine gas and Assad sucks and bully for George for deposing Saddam. It's an unusual argument, not having many facts at my disposal like airport sites and weapons plants, seems like bombing Assad will just add more fuel to the fire. I'd do something extremely precise but I don't know what the targets are.
The pundits on TV saying: "that'll learn north Korea! Bombing Assad," wow that's what four years at Harvard gets you.
Bottom line , if I wanted to knock out some of Assad's airports or weapons plants, I wouldn't be worried about Russia, or France or England. That country needs help, what a disgrace.
