can't agree 100% with the big lug oreilly's comments on nihilism, spirituality and crime. Take Mexico, old boy. There you see more killings than in Iraq during the Bush presidency. Plenty of religion in Mexico. And many of these rotten murderous little gang banging druggy traders in Mexico are serious Catholics. It's the perfect example of religion being a factor in so many murders. And by extension, there's been a lot of the same in the u.s. So we can't agree completely with your comments at all.
Insert Stossel pseudo whiney voice here:
even Krishna seems to think religion is a good thing, it says so in the bagavad gita, take a look!
Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion - at that time I descend Myself (BG 4.7)
But it doesn't say worshipping satan is a good idea for a religion. I went to ciudad lauredo near the border with Texas, in Mexico, and spoke with this catholic priest.
insert subtitles translating from Spanish:
actually I took confession from the boys that beheaded those victims yesterday and threw the sack of beheaded heads onto a dance floor at the local nightclub to scare the locals into submission of their gang and they asked me for their forgiveness. Naturally I was afraid so I told them to Say hail Mary and padre nuestro ten times each. They can be forgiven for all sins, so it's all good. Just glad they never cut my head off.
reinsert stossel voice, cut 25: Naturally I was confused so I started talking to a cactus, not any cactus, but the singing cactus from the movie the three amigos

but the cactus wouldn't talk back to me, it would only sing. So I decided to worship the cactus, like a God. But then somebody told me it wasn't a cactus, it was a bush: my wife. So I asked her if she believed in God and she told me to go buy her some chicken.
