it'd be really cool if it could poop. Noone ever thinks of Jesus as a pooper. All kinds of solemnity and churchianity and before you know it, Jesus isn't even the son of God anymore, he IS God, ergo, like Kim jong Il, he doesn't poop. But a giant pooping statue of Jesus would have immediate appeal to Jews and atheists, who are understandably sceptical of Jesus (you'd be sceptical of a guy that didn't poop too!)

we might have mentioned paleontologist Kurt stager's book: Deep future. They study frozen bubbles in ice cores, half a mile long, drilled from Antarctica, etc. Turns out a few million years ago the co2 levels were much higher than now, off the charts like 450 ppm. Science still doesn't agree that mankind lived back then but they did. Rumors in new Zealand have it that maoris have claimed giant man bones from various digs and will not share them. Did you know the number Pi is recorded to hundreds of decimal places in the pyramids? Yep, science is dumb and clueless about a lot (they admit they don't know why there was so much co2 in the air before) but they can take the temperature, at least they can do that!!

that's probably true, but not much of an achievement considering how many dumbarses around the world have survived

oreilly recently mentioned new York times newspaper as far left. That may be true with their editorializing, such as krugman, and their stories on america. however, I personally want to praise them on many international stories they write on far flung places like Russia and China and most anywhere which I find of an extremely high standard. Much more in depth than what you would find on fox news website.
