general Dempsey's views on iraq war

this article is pretty interesting, if we have understood it well after one reading, Dempsey is saying the following:

1) iraq's u.s. backed govt. needs MORE american weapons and MORE training

2) iraq's u.s. opposed sunni govt. (terrorists) have managed to disperse successfully from airstrikes by avoiding non urban areas, taking down their flags, dispersing convoys.... he calls this a campaign of adaptation..... furthermore he states that tactically, they will landmine their roadways in their territory with IEDs to protect themselves from shi-ite/mainstream govt. incursions

it seems difficult to agree with Dempsey that the mainstream govt. in iraq needs more money or weapons from american taxpayers........ in fact, they already got a lot of them, plenty, and alot of those were re-appropriated by the sunnis/non-mainstream govt./terrorists so that now everyone has lots of awesome weapons..............

on point two, it seems Dempsey is absolutely right and it will be difficult to bomb the bad guys when they'll just move to urban centers and consolidate there

with regard to freezing their assets and stopping them from selling oil, am not aware of the details of how that would work but it seems interesting

it's too bad there are so many ronsters (monsters) buying and selling women and running around to syria and back to iraq, shooting, killing, bullying, etc.......... but one can only imagine that there are plenty of weapons around for people to shoot oppressive bad guys annoying them, so it's hard to imagine what kind of order humanity is coming up with there......... and bombing civilians from the air doesn't seem like it will help much...............

it seemed last week Joe Biden awoke from his 7 year slumber which revolved around the question of just how the swiss put holes in their cheese, to mumble something about sending the bad guys to hell in iraq before rolling over and snoring some more about the eternal question that occupies his soul: just how do the swiss find the time to put all those holes in their cheese........ also obama stopped dreaming about kumbaya and barbie (maybe he is always feeling a great sense of peace so therefore not very fussed??) last week to say some warlike things, in unison with biden (maybe they made a plan together)...... clearly the 24 hour lamestream 'news' cycle doesn't like to see beheadings but if you think about the french revolution, beheadings were the order of the day

is it bush's fault for going in to iraq too hard and heavy in the first place? don't forget after the 2002 elections, the republicans had both houses and pretty much did whatever they wanted..... the invasion into iraq was pretty ham-fisted and led to various years of chaos after that.........

how is it the people there cannot be interested with cartoons, pop corn and regular jobs? are they nuts and do they love fighting? if soldiers with helicopters go in there (boots on the ground) and start warring there, won't they just start warring up some more after a few years of laying low as happened most recently?
