it's a significant date here, for starters, it's the anniversary of london bombings, secondly also anniversary of my father's suicide in 2008......... it's also the date i vacated spain for australia after a year and a half there as a 21 year old

about the time of the london bombings was residing in nyc in queens and on my way to mississippi via a flight to baton rouge louisiana....... i got very definite good impressions from the airport there in baton rouge of the louisianans..... never had much to do with them, but certainly would have enjoyed spending a few weeks or more in louisiana

the little team of mexican indians and others i was with at the time, we were all delayed by stormy weather which later evolved fully into hurricane katrina......... the neighborhood i was staying in in biloxi was severely destroyed........ i was impressed, before that, by the civil engineering projects in the area.... many long bridges spanning passes over valleys and watery inlets
