Unsolved crime: LARRIMAH.... northern 5erritory

Paddy Moriarty.... went missing, presumed dead along with his dog in late (summer) 2017. Larrimah is tiny and so isolated it's been on tv shows showcasing its isolated nature, around 500 kilometres south of Darwin.  The presiding detective is Matt Allen of northern territory police.  The number of suspects in town is limited and the extensive forensic investigation of frequently feuding town members indicates no suspects in town. I personally would look at pinging the nearest cell phone towers (the town itself has no coverage), to see which people drove through town the night he went missing.  His personal effects were not disturbed in a brusque way. There's no body and especially his dog hasn't turned up which it would normally in case of a farflung suicide or croc attack. If possible a log of which trucking companies truck through the town with any regularity. Who drove through there the night P addy went missing. Why aren't we hearing about this?
