They say they want Jim Morrison....

What's up, busy gardening today. I did three hours with an Anglo Saxon lady. She's freshly returned from Chile, Peru and Argentina. Also a very prickly Anglo type, our humors weren't meshing well. She seemed like she had a warlike nature so I asked her if she was a Scorpio, believing it likely she was born in the fifth seventh of the spring equinox year (starting March 21st), specifically the first half of that. So we're talking the 9th fourteenth of the equinox year. More or less when the Scorpios are born although not necessarily as I deal with fourteenths not twelfths when reckoning. Anyway I was right. She was a Scorpio and did have a warlike nature. Anyway we got along ok but I'd say we don't have much in common.

Next Scorpio, my customer Siggie from Germany, born 1939, her father died fighting for the fatherland 1945. Migrated to Sydney around 1950. Her and I get along like a house on fire. We get along great. I hadn't seen her in a while but she's doing well for her age. Almost 84.

Certainly the fascist dictatorship in Spain was allied with Germany leading up to and during world war two, why tell a lie?

Hey king Charles is in town. That's gonna be rough for him with cancer. Normally he'd be visiting the kids in hospital but now he's the convalescent. That's tough.

Random memories, my mother Queen Victoria's (not her real actual name or title) penchant for sitting on her bed and ripping paper in strips, probably a creative, soothing outlet for her I suppose. A little bizarre.

Driving the son of an IRA Irish Republican Army guy around Randwick in my taxi cab. He said when he was a teen-ager in northern Ireland and wanted to study he'd have to tell his father to stop shooting his machine gun. You meet all kinds of people in Australia, there's just no telling what they story is.
