Circle back to James Packer

Yes so I did pack those sails in the last post. As I don't have a furler. Returning from Australia's humble little Hunter valley wineries today for the first time, I note they have very stiff competition from the locale of my last week spent in Europe in Languedoc Rousellon which has an extremely strong history of grape growing.

Here's the Packer interview with Robbie Williams on Australia's 69 minutes, discussing mental health. Mr Packer has a nurse that travels with him everywhere:

Let's pivot to the Ukrainian war theatre. There's a guy in Estonia who has crowd sourced from his YouTube viewers for funding for very specific types of small, viewer drones. Say when I was fourteen or so I'd just play stealth bomber flight simulator games nonstop in my free time and you're seeing there the principle of aerial surveillance. Well for all students of modern warfare, no-one has seen a war like this with so many drones flying around just filming the landscape. This Estonian chap went on to say he's in contact with Ukrainian military intelligence and the drones his viewers sourced were well received. They actually work in tandem with much heavier drones that carry grenades, bombs or thermite. Unfortunately Russian soldiers are getting fifth degree burns from thermite. Another upshot of this war is whichever new tactics the Ukrainians start up, the Russians typically emulate in two weeks.

If we pivot to Trump lecturing NATO. Man he needs an adviser to bring him up to speed. Denmark and Holland are digging deep for F16s and Sweden is digging deep financially for Ukraine and even paying immigrants to leave the country. Trump's one size fits all take on NATO needs an upgrade because the situation has evolved since his last presidency. Also if he ends up stopping aid to Ukraine, there's no telling how other European nations like France might respond by filling the vacuum. Circling around back to aforementioned Ukrainian military intelligence, I saw some French journalists trying to just get a camera past the Ukrainian military police and no way Jose, they are keeping a tight wrap on operational security and are on their A game fighting fit.

It's definitely an exciting and challenging battle space and tragic for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians who will be hurting deeply. On top of all that, some of these Russian one ton bombs will give you brain damage when dropped half a mile away, thanks shockwave, it's like suddenly you're an NFL wide receiver with brain damage. It's real!
