He's got a kid and a wife over there and the government follows him around everywhere spying on him. He used to like it there but now finds it oppressive. Same time China's government considers it deeply important everyone around the world sucks up Chinese obnoxiousness everywhere except when they choose an arbitrary dissident to arrest and torture, normally a pro democracy advocate.
