what a surprise this Halloween! Auntie Sam (the U.S. Govt) has managed to claw 'fuh-dean' ($14) from my pocket! anyhoo, shopping this morning with the kids on the way to the gym with it's cheap and overloaded daycare, Scarlet doesn't like it, Alex doesn't mind though.... I figured how I'd save aunty Sam some money: Caged chicken dozen eggs instead of free range: $1.30, discounted generic brand bread, $1.40 cheaper than nice Turkish style bread. my first halloween?

I definitely remember Halloween in 2001, in Virginia, but can't recall actually celebrating, a more recent Halloween in my hometown where it seemed trick or treating had really become mainstream, as opposed to my childhood where it wasn't so......... and a Halloween in Hollywood/LA with a French date that her and I didn't actually dress up for but it was really big, just huge amounts of people outdoors......... there was a big streetfight at some point....... the Virginia Halloween I more remember the kind of dregs of it, like the next few days, household women would have leftover candy for you to snarf on --- (this latter particular demographic is pivotal for Trump to win the election, btw, - he has ten days to reach them - unfortunately, their primary conduits are the View, Barbara Walters, the Talk, and ti-vo'd schmaltz tv shows that's too late for Trump to reach them on..... i'd try to book an interview with Walters or 60 minutes or something or get his daughters to hit them up somehow --- those women with the 'women for Trump' pink signs might even do the trick, maybe get more of them!

howdy strangers.... so you wouldn't believe it, after fertilizing five eggs in a clinic under a microscope, successfully carrying one of those eggs to fruition in the form of our first son, then a miscarried egg that failed after a week or so in the womb, and then a third egg bearing successful fruition in the form of our daughter, Scarlet.... and one or two fertilized and frozen eggs thrown out......... the wiffster and myself found ourselves in a position of mutual loathing and preparedness to basically separate -- potential divorce ---- then, this morning, the wiffster comes back from the doctor with the news she's pregnant.......... see what quitting smoking for two months can do for your sperm????  it seems the conception day was around September 11th, around a month ago now...... reckoning that wiffy's last period was due around august 28th, which would have been maybe her second or third since bearing Scarlet, since there was no period for well over a year since birth...... it seems all of Benji's careful gymming around and non-smoking for a paltry two months plus switching from a poultry/red meat diet to eggs, red beans and some tofu did the trick............ unplanned pregnancy........ she did say repeatedly she didn't want to do anymore ivf but if she fell pregnant naturally, she'd go with it, the news of it just happened at a critical point in our relationship where we hit a low point and got to detesting each other

I hope the little egg makes it to full term, but you can't count your chickens before they hatch, the first tri-mester is always the most vulnerable for miscarriage.....  not being a planned pregnancy, I never kept a log of when we had sex but consulting my blog, I calculate it was sometime around watching the new movie, 'brother nature' (2016), and the older movie: 'old school' (2003).... however I do not recall having sex around these dates but anyway whatever...........we're going to the doctor tomorrow morning to get blood test results back so we'll see......
