Fox News broadcaster Tucker Carlson’s sacking was an assertion of managerial prerogative by his chief executive, Lachlan Murdoch, over an employee who thought he had become more powerful than the organisation, according to Andrew Bolt, an Australian commentator with close ties to the Murdoch family.

“Journalists have to realise they are not bigger than the company they work for,” Bolt told AFR Weekend. “When they wreck things, the company then loses.”

In an on-air monologue this week on Sky News about Carlson, whose departure from the right-wing US network became global news, Bolt listed what he said were the main reasons for the firing: Carlson’s demand a journalist lose her job for questioning election fraud claims in 2020; a lawsuit accusing him of operating a misogynistic workplace; and referring to a female Fox executive as a c---.

Fox initially said Carlson’s departure was mutually agreed.

Bolt said his “suspicion” was that Lachlan Murdoch finally decided to fire Carlson after, in what was to be his final broadcast, he called Ukraine a “primitive” country where the US government operated “secret biolabs” and kept sensitive nuclear technology.

Carlson is among some very conservative Americans who have expressed support for Russia in its war with Ukraine.

Mr Murdoch, the chief executive of Fox Corp, which owns Fox News, appears to lean towards Ukraine. Last month he had a private phone conversation with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to the Ukrainian state news agency.

Bolt described that conversation as “warm”. He also referred to a $US1 million ($1.5 million) donation by Fox for humanitarian aid in Ukraine that Mr Murdoch announced, last month, on the anniversary of the death of a Fox photojournalist in the war, Pierre Zakrzewski.

‘It’s not them’

Bolt said on air: “Maybe now some other hosts, not just at Fox News, will realise it is Lachlan Murdoch that runs the business and it’s not them.

“He [Carlson] was sacked essentially for thinking he was bigger than Fox News.”

Bolt’s seven-minute monologue is likely to have been closely watched within the Murdoch family businesses because of his reputed personal relationship with Lachlan Murdoch.

Mr Murdoch’s 92-year-old father, Rupert, is chairman of Fox. Lachlan is also co-chairman of News Corp, which owns Sky News and the Murdoch newspapers, and is Bolt’s employer.

After his personal hand in the Carlson decision, Mr Murdoch flew into Sydney on Monday, online flight data tracking his Gulfstream 650ER jet shows. He and his wife Sarah went to Rose Bay’s Catalina restaurant for a Ronald McDonald House Charity gala on Thursday night.

Better blog my day. Spent some time with kids, wrapping up their Fall holidays as the winter session of school about to commence. Off to cut grass for a likeable Cantonese chap and his family. Property formerly inhabited by friends of mom around the corner who is mom of kid working in silicone valley for Facebook and Zuckerberg.

Then off to Terry in Avalon then the German woman whose father died in 1945 defending Nazi Germany when she herself was there as a five year old. At 83 years old she's in great shape and very likeable person.

As a survivalist, my interest in this question immediately leads me to wonder which important power centres could become dangerous with AI and how.

Consider legal and illegal drugs first. People can't get enough. Living straight edge lives is too boring or unachievable. There are legal drugs for everything. Similarly illegal drugs are rampant. You might think of poor heroin junky, better off dead. But many successful people making lots of money are using cocaine, lsd, moderate amounts of heroin, ice (crystal meth), etc .

Law enforcement agencies around the world are beginning to use AI to predict crime with AI algorithms. This movement collided with the tipping point in American demographics of 50% then less average Americans are white. A new pseudo civil rights movement, a backlash against whites took off, discombobulating law enforcements use of AI predictive policing before it could take off. Furthermore America's rampant and robust public discourse and militant postures on all manner of political persuasions also coincided with their general collective aversion towards communist China and her pathway to a 1984 Orwellian society. Many facist looking left leaning power brokers at senior American government levels like CIA and FBI felt it was their collective duty to frustrate Trump and the Maga whites and blacks. Many of them believing they are acting in good faith.

Therefore public surveillance and AI predictive policing in America was completely frustrated under Biden's government. Unfortunately with law enforcement, if things aren't done properly.

Let's pivot to deep state attacks. Say the Chinese military wanted a list of ways to hit America surreptitiously, they could certainly employ artificial intelligence to cause trains to derail. To cause local power stations to shut down. To cause hospitals to fail in some respects. I recall when Australian leader Morrison seemed to be offending the Chinese government regarding coronavirus, apart from reject various Australian exports like lobsters, agriculture, etc, the Chinese government likely launched various cyber attacks. Certainly our bus depots were down. I definitely think the post coronavirus world is improved and you will not be dragging women back into the office easily.

As China now is a world leader in medicine and AI, they are now able to map precise pictures of bacterias and proteins and the like that was unthinkable without this technology. This means big pharma is now able to produce a gamit of drugs with AI.

We mentioned AI would be important for power centres specifically relating to ingesting drugs: law enforcement agencies, criminal cartels (themselves militias), governments like China's. And big pharma. Apart from the absolute precision of advertising nowadays with the constant data mining, big pharma will now be developing drugs with China, where possible, that can probably cure almost any affliction. The goal for American big pharma will be profit and an interest for the CCCP will be profit but, as usual, the overriding interest for them is regulation as per their interests. In fact, if ever there was an organisation that could depend on AI to self sustain itself, it's the government of China.

Leaving aside ingestibles, it is difficult to imagine that American and Chinese military interests do not depend on AI to some extent. However nowadays, when America fights a war, it's objective is normally to weaken Russia or weaken some opponent or impoverish some party, taking a few hundred thousand representatives of the defeated genetic group in an osmosis like way, then abandoning their victims to fate. On that level, I think AI can be used to run logistical tests. Wars are complicated things. On some level AI  can only be as pervasive as the scope of the program running it.

I guess with so much invested in China, Musk and Google and silicone valley et al have little interest in badmouthing China.

Took the ferry from Ettalong to Palm beach recently, about two weeks after the sailing trip on the Red Herring also by lion island and the Hawkesbury and Pacific Ocean junction. Basically a visible harbour from Ettalong directly South (Pittwater harbour)... There is a very distinct and narrow channel the boats must stay between delineated by green and red buoys, of course (international colors for that kind of thing). In order to go from open sea around lion island into what I suppose is Gosford harbour. I'll probably do that trip too! In Red Herring....

Hey talking about a sea of troubles, I did my weather research and it was not consistent with the facts again. I will definitely have to ask someone about sea swell and how that works. Scary. Great adventure. Three hours from Avalon sailing club to Dangar island with help from a motor. Sailing easily without motor from Pittwater harbour though. Beautiful. We left Red Herring on a mooring and got a boat ride from mooring owner back to Brooklyn and train home. Slept in the crib and$35aud ferry mom dad and three kids to Dangar island this morning from Brooklyn then I ferried the entire posse back to Brooklyn from Dangar island. Sick.

The next boat over is called Hell Bent and has a canopy draped with Spanish flags. Guessing they live on the island. Broke fast early again today like 90 minutes early. The food was a bit old like lasagna and two pieces KFC hadn't been refrigerated so boiled it.

Timeline April 8 arrive Avalon sailing club late after two hours gardening job while Alex and Scarlet watched Ukrainian movie at local cinema and a quick meal. Sun setting so rush to kayak to Red Herring and move her to a closer mooring to the club. Get kids from club, after showering and kayak individually to Red Herring in the dark. Moon not out. Only 40 yards or so. Leave food unrefrigerated in big bag hidden in club. Dumb thing to do. Ate a little too early that evening too. Play Spanish card game chinchon with Scarlet with Spanish deck of cards. Same as with grandma 'Piety' (helluva name). I think my kids might have been playing with her reincarnation possibly, family friend about seven years old. Lives in the gritty old hood in western Sydney. My actual grandmother went there in 1976 from Spain when I was born.

Anyway Scarlet scored a chinchon (like gin rummy) clawing back from certain defeat to win. Alex fell asleep at the bow and I woke him and swapped beds and he slept next to Scarlet. Next morning at the club pontoon 8am with the tide coming up midway towards high. Coffee and craps. Water and off we go. Some folks even took some photos and pushed us out. 825am ish we're off, sailing beautifully out of Pittwater harbour with two sails up and no motor making great time beautiful winds.

 

The westerly there, which is rare, has to surmount a little mountain chain, kind of like when you're playing stealth bomber as a nerdy teenager. There'll be mountains in Poland or Iran or somewhere and a super short runway.

But once we cleared the west head and into the mouth of the ocean and the proper channel, we felt the full blast of the westerly, whiched peaked around 20mph and which I remember very well. The kids freaked out there and I eventually just dropped the topsail although really we were making tremendous time but everything was stressing the boat, tipping her and creaking her. She needs her shrouds overhauled basically. Another hour into the on again off again bustling gusts. 

Finally a great time at Dangar island by midday. Very festive atmosphere there. We got an offer to use a mooring and even a ride in a boat to the mainland and went home on an express train. Very cruisy.

Wow every time I watch Californian fantasy tv I feel like I'm being brainwashed. Actually law and order SVU saw one of those with the rapist paramedic. Classy guy. I remember walking around Manhattan in the spring of 2005 and seeing a shit ton of film trucks parked somewhere and asking a crew member what was shooting and I think it was a law and order SVU, it's an incredibly long running show. Can't remember. Same thing happened in LA the next year and it was the Adam Sandler movie after Click or the one after that.

Not sure if that's what happened but if Joshua Philips says so I'm inclined to take him seriously. Just got off the phone with my elderly and retired uncle in Mallorca Spain and my elderly and retired uncle in northern mainland Spain. 

 

First the former industrial relations lawyer/judge, then the psychiatrist. It might be difficult for the poisoned minds of the inferiority complex multi-generational toxic Anglo Saxons of Australia to understand American psychiatrists might actually read a translated book on psychiatry by my uncle, but anything is possible for clowns that only say dean when they mean teen, one would think.

Anyway, the topic is useful idiots. Are the transgender people and the gay people useful idiots? We have a lot of confused people out there. My uncle the psychiatrist was telling me in Spain, it's no longer necessary for a twelve or thirteen year old to get a judge's permission to change gender, neither consult with a psychiatrist or doctor, just go to the local county's office and get a permit, no questions asked.

That's a case of Spanish government making go fucking yourself easier. But what a pity. Mentally ill people being failed. Mentally ill children being failed and even having body parts like reproductive organs removed. What a pity. And there will be no shortage of predators and disingenuous adulterers and scumbags in the media ready to take advantage of these useful idiots.

Even gay marriage is a joke. When Nietzsche talks about the last man  before the superman being a laughing stock and painful embarrassment he's talking about transgender and gay marriage but not prohibition. All of these movements are experimental movements but it's sad to see how the gays and transgender are used as useful idiots. And how the bitterness and bigotry of the transgender and gays conversely have a symbiotic relationship with the atheists in society.

Atheism itself is quite a topic. In China it's said the people are atheists and the western people tend to judge the worst in the Chinese. However having lived in China I realised there's tremendous potential for spirituality and goodness in China and ultimately marriage brings goodness and evil opposes marriage. Unfortunately with wealth, divorce rates in China skyrocketed. The generation of Chinese during the current government people, when they were young, had a very low divorce rate, however China was poor.

Ultimately man cannot be bigger or more than that God wants for him, and if God wishes to make a mockery and a joke from some people, well somehow we'll all have to get along. With the Slavic people, there's no transgender and gay movement but plenty of perverts to go around and an abundance of hostile, angry people. So much so that you will miss your cheerful gay buddies in the end.

Talking about useful idiots. How useful are today's western youth to anyone? Not sure. Maybe I'm getting old but today's youth look like a devolution and a going backwards.
